The story of Creation as depicted in the Holy Bible describes how God created the world in six days and what He did on each. Scripture recounts that all things God created were done through His Son, Jesus Christ (and likely with the third person of the Holy Trinity as well, the Holy Spirit). However, the concept of a Triune God is extremely complex and cannot be fully grasped by human minds. Still, one can perceive that three distinct personalities involved in a major collaboration would essentially communicate with one another in the effort. The following story is not a vision, it is not prophetic, and it did not come from a dream. However, it is not a fantasy either, as it depicts an event that truly took place, and tries to imagine what it may have been like to witness it first-hand. It will be up to the reader to decide if they feel this work is inspired, but to paraphrase C. S. Lewis in defense of his own and similar writings, “If I’m wrong, it’s only because it was better than I could have imagined.” So, just imagine you were there, in the Beginning…

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
– John1:1-5
The CREATION Story
The Lord God Almighty, Jehovah, turned to his Holy Son, Emmanuel, as they stood together before the cold, empty vastness of the Void, now stretching out before them. They had not directed their attention to this Darkness since The Fall. Since then, the Father and Son, together with the Holy Spirit of the Most High, had been preparing to bring about a new Creation. The Godhead of the Blessed Trinity were now ready to unleash an Accordance upon the Void.
The Void was an area of unrealized fulfillment in the mind of God Himself. In His Eternal Perfection, the Lord of Hosts commanded the Heavens and His Host with all awareness and full knowledge. Nothing eluded Him and nothing surprised Him. All things were regulated according to His Will and in accord with His wishes. He had filled all the vessels of His love to their capacity, and still He overflowed with Love to give. And they, in thankfulness and awe, returned the love in kind. Constantly in accord with the Will of the Lord.
In the Glory of His existence, the Lord had all, yet one thing He still desired was to increase His field of Love. Moreover, He longed for a kind of fulfillment that was not an execution of His own self-fulfillment. Oh, to embrace a creation that could bring novelty to His awareness through their genius and invention. Beings that also could be vessels in which great amounts of love could be stored and evolved. A very, special creation that could not only recognize His Glory, but celebrate it in new and wonderful ways. Yet, to instill such capabilities in a new creature would invite the imperfections associated with freewill to exist as well. Such Imperfections could not be tolerated in the Heavens, a place of perfection. To come together, the Heavens and the new creation would need to be reconciled in some way to remove the imperfections. This was the aspect that gave God serious pause…
“My Son”, Jehovah said softly, turning toward his only begotten and thus bathing his face in the glow of His Holy radiance, “Are you sure you are ready for this? I am not prompting you.”
“I am prepared for this Abba. My power is secure in your Love, and I feel the joy of Creation already spreading in me like the rising of our minds in union when we are soul dancing.” At this Windsong, the Holy Spirit of the Living God, issued a little giggle that briefly flushed him in rainbows and caused Emmanuel’s glow to brighten for a moment.
Yet Jehovah drew a sterner look. His son turned to him aware of his father’s trepidation.
“Father, yes, I am thrilled at the thought of creating this universe, for the sheer joy of the pleasure and beauty it brings, but I am also aware of the price we must pay to have all that we cherish and desire. It is well worth the price for glorified recognition of your Absolute Goodness and Majestic Beauty for which you are ever deserving, and it will also raise a wellspring of Perfect Love for us all to share. Besides, the Void is antagonizing.”
Jehovah had turned to his son while listening to him and now was filled with so much joy over his beautiful boy that the words hurt. He fully understood what awaited his son once these wheels were set in motion. Yes, an amazing universe awaits! One that will spawn vast reservoirs of love, provide beautiful purpose, exhibit Holy Glory and lead to Celestial fulfillment. However, it will also require the sacrifice of his Son and allow evil to roam freely for a time; those were two huge downsides!
Emmanuel noted the conflict in his Father’s eyes. “My Lord”, Emmanuel continued, “I want to do this. I have seen through the Inner Dimension, the incredible expressions of love and adoration directed at you from those who are Elect. I know them all already, even by name. I have seen the uplifted eyes, beseeching You with praise for Your Glory and petitions for Your Mercy. There will be great temples of worship, songs of praise and dedication of souls, all consecrated in Your Name.”
“Yes”, there is a good face to this, but also a bad one.” Jehovah responded, “I have seen those you speak of, The Chosen ones, those who are our intended. But I have also seen those, and there are vastly more of them, who embrace the darkness and will refuse the gift for which you are to pay so dearly. The ugliness of their sin and the foolishness of their rejection offends me, and without your favor they will have no hope.”
“Yes, Abba, but only for a while. In the end we can remove them all from existence, even our memories of them. The affront will not remain after I make all things new. The Lake of Fire You have prepared for the Fallen, will consume them and their memory. We will be left with the Perfected through my Grace and an untarnished Creation. And I myself will be raised up in Glory and as High Priest of Heaven can exalt You in new ways that will bring you delight. Yes, my Lord and Father, every tear shall be wiped away…even ours.”
The Lord God Almighty gazed deeply at His beautiful son, moved to tears that glowed with Holy Light as they cascaded down his cheeks. The angels nearby swooned in ecstasy at this revelation of emotion from The Ancient of Days. Yes, the Lord was profoundly stirred by His only begotten Son; His Beauty, His Grace, His Elegance, His Joy, His Selflessness, His Goodness and Compassion, and His Love. To share Him with a world of spirit beings moored in a physical universe was an incredible act of charity; they could not possibly appreciate Him as much as He deserved. Yet, there was a special aspect to the relationships He could forge through His Grace, one that would extend the family of God and all the love and joy that would go with it.
“Very well,” conceded The Lord God Almighty, “However, if at any point in your mission, you should call on me for Your redemption, I shall. Even to the point of unleashing Michael and the Angelic Host to ravage the mortal plane in your deliverance.”
“Yes, Abba, I know you would, but I intend to finish what we are about to begin. Through the Power of Your Wisdom, the intimacy I already feel with My beloved bride fills me with joy and anticipation. Each and every soul brings something exciting and different to my heart and I can see them all both in their fallen state and in your Glory. So much beauty and love just waiting for you to speak it into existence by the Power of your Holy Word. Let us tarry no longer Mighty God and Father, I am committed and ready.”
With that said and beholding the countenance of His beautiful Son, The Lord of Hosts raised His hands high. With this gesture, every knee in the Heavenly Realm bent and every head bowed; all the angels, Seraphim and Cherubim abased together in wondrous recognition of God’s authority getting ready to manifest itself with a direct Accordance of His thought.
With arms outstretched, The Lord God Almighty, faced the void that stretched before Him. The darkness that stretched over the deep began to ripple as it drew The Creators focus. The ripples extended from the epicenter of God’s gaze into the Void and created vibrations that began the long descent into the very depths of perpetual darkness, the dead waters of the Void. And as the Will of The Living God began to manifest itself in the rumblings and distortions that were now flashing through the Void, the Son of The Living God began to emanate intense light.
Emmanuel lost all features as He became fully aglow with brilliant celestial light, standing like a Holy Torch before the Void. At that moment, the Lord of Hosts proclaimed with authority in the vastness of His Holy Word, “Let there be Light!” With that, a blinding light issued forth from God’s Holy Son that extended straight into the Void vertically, like a narrow wall extending both up and down into infinity, thus slicing the Void in half. Then the Son of God slowly extended His arms straight out from His sides forming a radiant cross and as He did so the wall of light widened, pushing back the darkness of the Void to one side.
The Lord God Almighty gazed on in pleasure at the handiwork of His Holy Son, and with joy that sent the Heavenly Realm into fits of laughter He said, “It is good! The dark waters of the Void will be Night! And the bright depths shall be Day!”
God looked over to His Son whose glow had diminished into a quiet softness and who had fallen to one knee with His head bowed. God’s eyes teared up as He saw His Son’s face was streaked with glowing, crimson rivulets that ran down from His scalp all around His head. The task of parting the waters of the Deep to separate Night from Day had taken a great toll on His Son, as He knew it would. Yet His beauty was still evident as He slowly turned His head to look at His Father, smiling. The look made Jehovah smile too.
“I knew you could not do this without making yourself dirty!” God exclaimed, wanting to lighten the blow of the obvious implications of the wound and what it represented. With that God waved His hand and the blood cleared up and the wounds closed around His Son’s head, but the impact left scars around the crown of His head that were stark in their lack of radiance. The Son of the Living God had actually surrendered a piece of Himself to this act of creation, He was a part of it and it was now a part of Him.
God stopped abruptly as He was about to caution His Son and remind Emmanuel He could walk away at any time, but the Son preceded the Father’s Words by joining in His Father’s mind and affirming not just His commitment, but His extreme pleasure at what they had accomplished together so far! He was not just committed, but excited to continue.
“Very well then,” Jehovah pronounced, “We shall continue. However, we will pause for now as I see we now have a day and a night, therefore I declare this is the first day! It shall sequence back and forth with the night and therefore this shall be the end of the First Day, the day which brought Light forth from the darkness. Let us commune now as we further plan the expansion of our Creation and allow you to reenergize.” With that The Father and Son joined in communion, and it was deemed the end of the first day.
The Father and Son then convened again to continue the work They had begun. This time, however, They went right to work and there was no more discussion of the merits of the plan. The Son presented Himself to His Father with a look of purpose then turned as before to gaze upon the black/white expanse differentiating the light from dark, which they had set forth on the first day. Then, as before, the Father addressed the new Creation with His Holy Word by proclaiming, “Let there be an Expanse within the depths of night and day that separate their upper from their lower regions!”
As the Father commanded the Creation, Jesus’ features once again dissolved in the Celestial glow that grew in Him, but He maintained his form as He began to kneel. As He lowered Himself to one knee, He also raised His hands slowly above His head and as He did so, a horizon grew from the deep waters of the Creation, separating the top from the bottom. The separation was discernable as the top portion of the vastness took on hue; the upper dark side becoming midnight blue and the upper light side a soft gold. While the lower portions of the Creation were sill marked vertically by their stark black and white depths.
Admiring the manifestation of His Accordance in this latest Act of Creation, the Lord of All proclaimed, “Now we see Heaven has risen above the Expanse, the place where all eyes will turn in seeking their God and His Will.”
With that Jehovah turned back to His Holy son and saw He was now on both knees, weakened from the exertion and now bearing new marks. His back was now stripped with many scarlet welts latticed all across it. The Lord winced turning His focus again to the cost of the wonders He and His Son were creating. Yet, He could also discern the satisfaction in His Son’s heart, which played upon His smile despite His present duress. So, though it pained Him to see His Son burdened, He let it go and focused on the result of their labors. His creation now had light and color and shimmered before the Magnificence of His Glory.
“Come my Son, this is sufficient for the Second day.” With that, Jehovah motioned toward His Son and the wounds on Emmanuel’s back healed, but in lieu of the red streaks His back was stripped by diminished glow emanating from His countenance. The Father and Son then withdrew to a place of rest and further communion in preparation for the next wave of creation.
When God and His Son resumed, Emmanuel was particularly excited about the current work before them.
“Father”, He exclaimed as they took their positions for the next manifestation of God’s Glory. “This day we shall see the tangible and physically material come about! So begins the planting of the Garden of Your Glory!”
The joy in Emmanuel’s aura caused Him to sparkle with gleams of silver and gold radiance that danced on Jehovah’s face, bringing Him sheer delight! As happy and excited as He was with their new creation, the ecstasy of joy that His Son brought to Him washed over Him anew. Oh, how He delighted in and loved His Beautiful Boy, His Only Begotten Son!
“How greatly you please Me, My beautiful Son!”
Emmanuel smiled that special smile of love and appreciation at His Father and said, “Shall we begin, Lord of the Heavens! Your Creation awaits.”
With that, Jehovah stretched His arms toward His Creation and proclaimed, “Let the expanse beneath the Heavens be formed into a place where creatures may dwell, raised above the depths to where their eyes and praise may seek the heights and My Glory!”
During the proclamation, Emmanuel once again glowed with energy and stood with His arms wide facing the Creation and with His Father’s Words, he slowly drew His arms together in front of Him. As He did so, the depths of the lower region beneath the Heaven’s began to swirl with color and texture. From all around the edges, the Heaven’s flowed down, golden on the right side and midnight blue on the left, pushing the lower depths together into a swirling ball. The heavens closed around the sphere being formed and within the undulating ball of matter, the waters of the depths formed into seas that covered the newly created world as Emmanuel’s hands came together completing their arc.
Then Emmanuel with apparent strain, raised His arms, which were extended in from of him with his palms up and as He did so land was raised out of the seas covering a third of the globes surface. As the land rose with peaks and valleys above the waters, Emmanuel’s legs buckled, but He kept His footing with His arms out and palms up as the lands finished forming. Whereupon, the Father proclaimed, “It is good!” and His Son smiled at Him, apparently eager to continue.
Then, the Lord God said, “Now, let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.”
With that the Son, slowly squatted down and touched His feet, then he turned His palms upward and raised His arms as He shifted to His knees. With that His glow swallowed Him and then shot off in a brilliant beam of light that bathed the newly formed planet and caused all manner of trees, plants, weed and grasses to spring from the earth that had formed. The array of color from the flowers alone caused music to rise from the expanse…the Song of the Trees was born.
Jehovah looked upon what His Son had done with great pride and saw that it was good! The angels noted how the face of The Living God emanated with a green aura they had not seen before, and in that aura were flashes of brilliant color like lightning bolts against His verdant glow. In the same way, the newly formed world also demonstrated the same aura as The Lord of Hosts. Indeed, the very life force energy of The Living God, the most Sacred and Precious of The Almighty’s Power, had just been imparted through His Son to the world He had created, causing this display and infusing it with life! This life in turn, perfect in its rendering, reflected its own joy back to its Creator through the praise of its beauty.
The spectacle of a whole world coming to life on a newly formed celestial body captivated the entire countenance of Heaven, even The Holy of Holies. Such was the grand display and the implications it represented for God’s own commitment to His Creation; to actually bring it to life! So, it took a celestial moment before Jehovah turned to His Son. Once again, the cost became palpable as The Lord saw his son now sitting with his knees up and his hands clutching His feet. He was looking downcast and was labored in His breath of the Holy Spirit. He tried hard to mask the experience of the pains to which He was being subjected, but they were mounting in their toll and His distress was palpable.
Aware His Father had shifted His focus to Him, Emanuel gathered Himself to rise, but had some difficulty doing so in that both His feet bore wounds that almost separated them each down the middle. They were slowly losing the crimson marks, which faded into a diminished glow while His feet reformed their shape. However, Emmanuel staggered after rising a little too soon and several angels rushed to Him, but Jehovah held out His hand and forestalled them. He would rise up on His own with the Power of His God. Emmanuel steadied Himself and faced His Father, now sharing a tired grin of satisfaction.
His feet had now recomposed themselves, but as with the other wounds He had incurred on His head and back, His native brilliant glow was diminished there as well.
“See though, Father,” exclaimed the Prince of Heaven, “How wonderful and vibrant is this New Creation! I can hear the songs of praise that rise from all of this New Life you have bestowed upon your Creation, and it is so pleasing to my ears. I find my joy has more than compensated for my efforts. I love what we are doing, my Lord.”
“Come then, my Son,” replied the very proud Father as He took His Son by the arm. “Let us go rest and repair for a while and then we will continue.” And so, they went to a place of communion and after the Triune God withdrew unto Himself, the Heavenly Host gazed upon the new Creation in wonder, noting the crackle of life energy running through it and the songs being raised to Heaven with the Breath of Life that had been granted to the World. Oh, how God’s Majesty Blessed all the Holies with wonder as new songs were now raised by the angels, inspired by life being bestowed on a new creation, even as it had been bestowed upon the angels themselves! Thus ended the third day of Creation with the Heavens aglow by the Light of Life that emanated from the newly created Earth with its lush, verdant lands, its rolling blue seas and the luminous glitter of foliage and flowers.
The Holy Spirit of The Living God, Windsong, felt a swelling of power and purpose as the fourth day was about to begin. He took note of the strain that had been placed upon the Son and received the Father’s instruction with gratitude. In response, Windsong advanced to God’s new creation and for a moment basked in the glow of its presence. He saw how the new world glittered like a jewel against the backdrop of the bifurcated expanse, split vertically with darkness opposing the light on either side. He felt the buzzing of life and noted the way its sound spread across the expanse in all directions. He was now prepared to support Emmanuel in the next wave of creation, one in which He took particular delight, because of what it would bring about.
As the father and son approached the expanse to begin their efforts, Windsong mobilized and extended Himself outward at once to all reaches of the once empty void that was now the Lord God’s great canvass. Beyond infinity, to places he would only achieve through the Father’s direct support, the Holy Spirit braced Himself for the big push. “Oh, to glorify the Father and the Son in this way!”, He exclaimed. At which point, The Archangel Michael rejoined Him in response, “Yes, and a new beauty like we have not seen before will now rise and bring about a celestial symphony of splendor, all in tune with our Creator. Blessed be His Holy Name throughout this new universe about to unfold!”
All was prepared as Father and Son approached the beautiful world they had created. They stood for a moment regarding its vibrancy and enjoying the music of life that radiated from it. Jehovah turned to His Son, “You will need to extend yourself in new ways for this new creation and I know you are aware I have deployed my Spirit purposefully to assist with the construction. Not just to form the bodies, but to tune them all to each other to achieve the unison of the celestial dance. It must be perfectly in accord with the music of life in line with my orchestrations.”
“Yes, Father,” the Son replied, “I understand the need and the precision required. I delight in the revelations you will share of your perfection through the orderliness of your Creation. The signposts of your Glory will be readable for any with eyes to see and ears to hear, but only if all is in tune. Let the beauty and vastness of this new universe be a reflection of Your Loveliness and Majesty. I am ready to begin the dance, Father, My Lord.”
“Very well then, My Son. Let us begin. With that, Emmanuel turned to the split expanse with the beautiful globe spinning before it. He raised his arms straight out with palms extended, prepared for the surge and the purpose. Jehovah, for His part, acknowledged His Spirit, empowering Windsong with a new energy. Windsong embraced this new Word that Jehovah had shared with Him and braced for the command with great anticipation.
With that, Jehovah raised His arms high and proclaimed, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.”
When the Word was spoken, Emmanuel began to push really hard, as against some great wall. Then He began rotating His extended arms in small concentric circles of opposing directions in front of Him, while slowly tightening His fist. As He did so, both sides of the expanse also swirled in opposing directions before Him; clockwise on the left and counterclockwise on the right. Then as Emmanuel’s fist tightened, the luminosity of the golden expanse on the right retreated inwardly toward its center forming a flaming ball. At the same time, on the dark, left side of the expanse, the shadows of midnight blue swirled out of the dark and coalesced into a glowing ball of pale light.
At this point, Emmanuel had turned entirely pale, and His knees buckled while He tried to maintain His balance. Windsong, for His part, worked furiously amidst the swirling hemispheres to assist in the consolidation of the orbs and setting the stage for time and space. On the right side of the expanse, the golden backdrop had compressed into a blazing ball of Holy Fire that shone so bright, it totally illuminated that side of the Earth and extended its warm glow into the Heavens. On the dark, left side, all light had consolidated into a globe about a quarter the size of the world and it was aglow from the light of the flaming ball, and as such a reflection of God’s Glory.
With that, Jehovah turned back to His Son, who had fallen to his knees, with his arms limp in front of him. Emmanuel knew His Father had turned His attention toward Him and despite His pain and exhaustion, with a final effort, He flung His arms up and out in a sweeping motion and let out a huge groan. As He did so, lights sprung up like dots against the dark firmament as galaxies formed to the furthest reaches of a universe that had just been born. At once, by the power of a Holy God, matter had formed out of the nothingness of the great expanse and gathered into clusters of solar systems scattered in every direction. With the forming of all those stars, other planetary bodies appeared close to the new world, also sharing in the rays of the resident star.
God the Father looked upon His creation with great love and excitement. His Glory was not just manifest in the good Earth he had created, but the Heavens themselves, also gleamed with his Glory. The depth and grandeur of the spectacle held Jehovah’s attention for a good while. He really liked the essence of light in opposition to darkness and how both played upon the Earth. He also noted the dance of the stars and how all the lights in the Heavens, the great one, the lesser one and the far ones all moved in unison with precision. He took particular note of an especially bright world next to the Earth that was the brightest object in the Heaven’s after the two lights that rule the day and the night.
At once, the “star” that would represent His Son’s Glory, pulled Jehovah’s focus back to Emmanuel. “Morning Star!” the Father exclaimed. His son lay prone and stationary where He had collapsed from the strain. A number of angels rushed toward the Son, but the Father put up His hand and forestalled them.
“He must do this Himself!”
With that, Emmanuel attempted to gather Himself to rise but had trouble using His hands to brace himself to do so. Both of His wrists bore huge wounds that penetrated all the way through, and His hands were stained with a ruby colored glow. Jehovah’s heart ached for the duress of His Son. Yet He knew what was at stake and what could be accomplished, so He softened His concern. Emmanuel was able to rise to His feet as the wounds to his wrists and hands faded into healing, but both his hands now shared in the diminished glow, same as the other parts of His body impacted by this labor of love.
“See Father, the great light will be the Sun, and it will be a wonderful sign of Your Grandeur and Goodness. Its rays will feed the Earth and enable life to exist as we desire. Its majesty is so great, the creatures of the Earth will not even be able to gaze upon it, same as with your own countenance. And the lesser light to rule the night will be called the moon. As it reflects the glory of the sun, so shall I be a reflection of your glory to those who are to come. The moon will come and go in phases, same as the Son of Man will come and go and come again. It has come about just as we desired, and you have willed My Lord. I trust you are pleased Father?”
The Lord of Hosts gazed into the night and beheld the glory of the stars twinkling majestically against the deep, blackness of night. Then He directed His attention to the dayside and the way the light of the Sun played upon the Earth, saturating it with colorful splendor. “I Am, indeed, my Son!” returned the Father. “How intricately precise you have tuned the universe to ensure the relational synchronicity of perpetual order. It is perfect in its harmonic resonance, just as I had envisioned. But let us break for now as the cost of what is going into this manifestation is ever present in my heart. What has been done is very good in my sight and I am so proud of you.”
With that, God declared the fourth day complete and took His Son to repair before the next phase of creation.
In that moment, both Michael and Gabriel also took council with each other.
“Behold the Glory of the Lord!”, the Archangel proclaimed to God’s Holy Messenger. Gabriel issued a broad smile, replying, “Yet, there is much more to come! All of this will be granted by the Lord as the dominion of a creature yet to come.”
“You speak of moving and sentient creatures, Gabriel?”
“Yes, but more than that. The Lord will fill this new world with all manner of creatures; mobile and self-aware. However, the Lord has revealed to me He intends to create a new race, not unlike our own. They will have intelligence, and they will also take on the form of our Creator, but in a material form. A body.”
“Surely, if that is the case, God would not make them automatons but would give them the power of reason to go along with their intellect. That means they would not just have sentience, but free-will. Such a creation would require a soul!”
“Yes, Michael, He plans to endow them each with a unique spirit; they will be immortal souls embedded in mortal bodies. That will make them much different than the Host. They will not have our abilities and will be able to use only a fraction of their mind power. However, they will be the most powerful creature on the Earth.”
“Yes, I recall this was one of the key issues precipitating the Great Fall. There were some among us who could not reconcile with the Lord’s intentions. They followed the Imperfection in His warped thinking and dared to make declarations to the Lord. It was my honor to be called upon by our King Himself to squash the rebellion. Though I fear the rebellion may continue upon this new stage the Lord has brought about.”
“Indeed, Michael. These new creatures with immortal souls will have to contend with the dark spirits and principalities of this new world as they live out their lives. Each will be responsible for the pureness of their spirits in the sight of God as the enemy seeks to disdain them and make them unacceptable; essentially ruining the flower of Jehovah’s handiwork.”
“They will not be able to achieve perfection and thus will not be able to commune with the Beauty,” exclaimed the Archangel, “Really, what chance can they have in mortal vessels? The enemy will use that gateway to lure the Lord’s treasure away from Him. That traitor and liar will lead them all into the abyss in the face of Righteous Judgement. How can they be made acceptable after all?”
Gabriel bowed his head solemnly and a rare beauty in Heaven of a single sparkling teardrop ran down his cheek. Michael noted the jewel with awe.
“I expressed the same wonderment to Windsong,” the Trumpeter continued. “He told me that the Son of God had condescended to be the Son of Man; the name given to define this new rational being. These human beings known as mankind will be redeemed personally by God’s only begotten Son.”
With that, the Spirit of the Living God, ever engaged in the bidding of the Father, swept through the mighty angels and God’s Salvation Plan was revealed to God’s Captain. He saw the Star and the heralding of the Christ; he saw the rise of His ministry and the road to Calvary; He saw the grave cloth bereft of a body and the Ascension of the Lamb of God; He saw the defeat of death and the eradication of Evil; He saw the redeemed Children of God standing like a sea of thankfulness before their Creator and joining in with the angels themselves in a Holy Choir of praise, one that could now achieve sadly, sweet, beautiful chords of repentance, forgiveness and redemption that only the Forgiven could bring to the chorus.
Michael’s eyes welled with tears. “Now I understand. The Lord has willed to create a vast storehouse of absolute love; the essence of His own existence and His greatest Glory. This creature of mankind will be like a treasure case containing His most beautiful and prized possession. Yet, it cannot be commanded, or it is not love. So, to bring it about He must nurture a garden that would yield such fruit, a garden of people. However, the free will necessary for them to choose God would also allow them to choose the enemy who has taken up residence in that garden.”
“Yes,” agreed Gabriel, “There will be dangerous garden pests that would ruin the crop. However, the gardener will redeem the chosen yield by personally pruning the vine himself.”
“And to do that He must enter this time and space He has created from the Void.” Michael continued the thought. “In that place though, He will be rejected by the rulers, and I see the path the Son will take to carry the fruit of salvation home; literally, on His back! Such a prodigious effort and sacrifice that He will bear. I shudder to consider His surrender.”
“But He will be lifted up in the end,” countered Gabriel, “And will be glorified in new and amazing ways. He will rod He will cleanse the threshing floor and will ultimately arise as the Lion of Judah to redeem His people. The enemy will be defeated completely, and the Lord will reign over a new tomorrow. Heaven itself will be redone. I am thrilled at the prospect of what the Lord will do, especially with the vast store of love He will have to use as the mortar of a new Paradise!”
“And the greatest part of this new creation,” the Messenger continued, “will be His people. Not only will He save them, but the Lamb will grant them His reward in the Kingdom to come! They will truly be Children of God and thereby Lords of Heaven. What an amazing thing our God has Willed after all! He will be their Father in Heaven, and they will be His children- His beloved, blessed be His Holy Name!”
With that, the angelic commanders withdrew to consider the work to be done in support of God’s new universe and Word spread among the Host who buzzed with excitement over God’s plan.
The dawn of the fifth day saw Jehovah approach His Creation with His Son already there in that dimension, contemplating the task ahead and admiring their handiwork. The Father for His part was focused on His Son’s diminishment. He noted with sadness the way His Glory, His Aural Glow, had been dimmed on His head, back, feet and hands. The brands He now bore of reduced luminosity in those areas were an ever-present reminder of the cost of building this universe, and He knew the worst was yet to come. Yet, He knew His Son was committed and there was no point in trying to dissuade Him otherwise.
“You see Father,” began the Son, “How beautiful is the night canvass, ablaze upon the Infinite with brilliant jewels of light. Each and every one a reflection of your splendor and beauty.” Emmanuel was determined to keep His Lord’s focus on the benefit.
“Yes, my Son, except the one that shines the brightest. The Morning Star shines for you. And well it should, for it has achieved some of your brilliance whereupon you have been diminished.”
Emmanuel turned to His Father sporting a wry grin. “Then let it be so, Abba. Afterall, I can appreciate the Beauty you begat in me even better when it is before me rather than within me. This universe is a mirror reflecting your Majesty Lord and the Earth a tapestry of your Goodness and Grace. It pleases me to share so much of myself that it makes me one with the Creation.”
“Very well, my Child, this day we will fill the world with special creatures that can enrich the sea and the sky of this good Earth. Let us begin.”
With that, Emmanuel faced the Creation with His feet apart and lowered His left hand down to His side with the palm facing outward and raised the right hand high above His head, also with the palm out.
Then the Lord God Almighty raised His own arms and pronounced, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.”
Once again, the proclamation of creation by God caused His Son to radiate with great power and luminosity. He maintained His form, which then cast a shadow of a signal bearer in brilliant light that fell upon the Earth. And so, through His Holy Son, God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind.
God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
With that God fell into deep communion with the new life He had just created. In a moment, the incredible diversity and purposefulness of His own character manifested itself in the myriads of wonderful creatures who now filled the seas and skies, buzzing with activity. There was movement everywhere and the whole Earth had truly come alive with activity. Better still, all creatures were in complete harmony and the air was filled with a unique form of wonderful praise that arose like incense to the Almighty. He basked in the vibrancy of this goodness and received the praise with joy. “What a wonderful addition to this new Creation,” He thought to Himself. He had not been this absorbed in a long time, but His thoughts and attention then returned to His Son.
The Lord was pleased to see His Son was still standing, though He hunched over somewhat, clutching his right side. Then His Son sank to His knees and as He did so, water gushed from His side pushing His hands away and streamed to the glistening world before them. Emmanuel doubled over and moaned softly, rocking back and forth on His knees. He had poured Himself out on the world and faced an exhaustion He had never known. The cost for this new addition was indeed high!
God the Father took in His Son’s distress and with a wave of His Hand bestowed a Word of healing upon Him. Then He helped His Son to His feet and hugged Him. As He did so, the wound in Emmanuel’s side closed up and His energy was restored. However, as before, the Son’s Glory had been reduced on His right side, its glow diminished in that area.
“Thank you, Father, for Your support and healing. I know you are concerned. This was always to be a balancing act if we were truly to put ourselves into this creation. Considering what we have brought about, I feel good about the exchange and that we are getting something well worth it for the sacrifice.”
“But the worst is yet to come, my Son.”
“True Father, but it will be the last of it until I am placed in time and space. We are almost done with the building.”
The Lord God admired His Son’s resolve and stamina, but His Son could not know what awaited Him next. The father was aware of the very, special cost the next wave of creation would bear. It was not something that He could share; His son would have to experience it for Himself to understand. Yet, the earnest in His Son’s visage, despite the cost to Him, assured God that they could continue and complete the canvass they had started together. With that, God the Father gathered His Son to Himself, and they withdrew for a while to plan the final stage of creation and let Emmanuel prepare. And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.
At this point there were a number of angels who had come together to discuss the new creation and who had questions about God’s intentions. For that reason, Windsong, the very Spirit of the Living God manifested Himself in their assembly, intent to answer their questions and explain the Lord’s plan.
“Is it true, Windsong,” one of the angels asked, “Does the Lord intend to create new creatures in His image, even mortal vessels with immortal spirits; actual souls?”
“Yes,” the Spirit replied, “The Lord has created a world to be home to many wonderous creatures, all mortal. You have seen those that inhabit the sky and those that dwell in the depths, which have just sprung up upon the Earth. Our Holy God will next bring forth creatures that are bound to the land. However, among them He will create a creature of the Earth that will bear His own semblance. This being, known as man, will dominate not just the land, but the sky and sea as well. The whole world will be man’s domain, thus making him accountable as its keeper; and all its creatures will be his dominion, making him responsible for them as well. Such accountability and responsibility require awareness and understanding, for which they will be enlightened, having free-will and inherently knowing right from wrong. Thus, they will have the mind power required of spirits, souls in their regard, but be tied physically to a material world.”
There was silence for a moment while the angels considered what Windsong had shared. Then one of the other angels enquired, “Windsong, blessed be our God, in Whom you are One. Your revelation is new and exciting to be sure, but we are also alarmed being aware of the evil one’s condemnation and ties to the new world. How will such creatures be able to stay pure in the sight of The Holy, with the enemy in their camp. Even a third of our very own Host succumbed to His lies and trickery; they too will look to destroy this beautiful creation. Surely the Lord has considered this, how will He address it?”
Windsong extended arms of flame from his sides and his legs and head became aflame, creating a cross of fire and His voice continued, but in a darker, more powerful tone, “The Son of the Living God Himself will go down to the Earth and even into its very depths to redeem them personally. He will live among them in a mortal body so He can reach them and teach them. He will surrender some of His Divine power to His Father, our Lord, but will retain that which is required for His authority on Earth. In the end, He will be rejected by His people and given over to the Darkness. This process has already begun and can be seen even now in the diminishment of His aural glow in certain spots from the act of creation; the areas where He will bear the wounds of Love in addressing His mission on Earth.”
Windsong, felt the sorrow and concern welling up among the gathered angels, who had now grown to quite a crowd. “However, although the Son will give Himself up as a ransom for mankind and will be stricken down, He will rise again and save His people, cleansing them of all inequities and making them acceptable to His Father. In so doing, both of Them will be glorified, and I will glory in Them. Moreover, the Chosen will also be glorified and made perfect by the sacrificial blood of the Lamb. So, great will be its power that it will conquer death and redeem the world. Those who accept the gift of the Lamb will join us in Heaven and teach us new things born of forgiveness and redemption. New and beautiful chords will be raised to the Throne on High from our joined chorus and love will abound in revolutionary ways. We will all be in wonderment at the culmination of God’s salvation plan for His people to come.”
With that the angels dispersed, each to his own engagement and Windsong deformed into a celestial breeze sweeping across all the Heavens with revelations of the work about to begin. He knew that for all the grandeur of the wonders God had already created from the Void, that His greatest work was to come. Mankind would be unlike anything that had gone before, immortal souls in mortal vessels. The ugliness and beauty this new being would be capable of through his endeavors, would be unprecedented. They were going to be able to consider things freely, make decisions through choice and create things themselves. The angels were still more powerful beings in their innate capabilities, but were absent willful initiative, taking all queues from God. That is until the greatest among them warped in his own self-awareness.
Windsong shuddered to think how the enemy, who had been cast out of Heaven, but who had access to the new world, would prey on the peoples to come. Even now the enemy anxiously awaited his prey. Such great pain and suffering to be visited upon the Earth. Yet, the new world would also know true beauty and selfless love, especially when God Himself goes into the world in the person of His Son. That will open the door for the Spirit of the Living God to manifest Himself in the very hearts of those who accept God’s gift of salvation. Windsong delighted in the thought of the love to come from all this and allowed the eventual goodness to lead His thoughts as He commenced the sixth and final day of Creation.
When the Holy Spirit of God manifested Himself before the new creation, penetrating the dimension of time and space, He found Jehovah already in place before the former void. The Father’s countenance radiated a special aura that had never been seen before. The deep concentration and focus of His intense Holiness and Power were directed at the blue/green orb shimmering before Him. The bringer of feelings and author of emotions expressed all of them at once through the undulations of His aura as he beheld His handiwork. Everything was there as awareness of all the world’s good and bad to come played across His visage.
“He will be here soon.” The Lord said to Windsong without breaking focus. “We will need to assist Him without supporting Him. He must stand on His own to the end and in the end He will be alone. He must be alone! And it breaks my heart to think of it. Even He has no idea how it will hurt Him when He loses me, as He must in the throes of His very crucible. I knew this going in and still may have reconsidered, but my Son is committed and in love with the project. So, we will proceed as planned. Are you certain, oh Spirit of the Most High, my Blessed Soul, that you are prepared and ready to do the hardest thing you have ever done; to separate from the Blessed Beauty, my Bright and Morning Star?”
“Yes, my Lord, Father of all Creation. I am girded for the non-task ahead. However, if He should relent and call on you, as you have rested in His worldly Divinity the ability to amend the plan, then shall I not heed that call?”
“Only if He commands it. If so, you will immediately rejoin Him as I dispatch Michael and the Host to His redemption. However, I do not see it. He is fully devoted to the cause despite the cost. In fact, He approaches even now.”
With that, the Son of God appeared in the presence of His Father and His Holy Spirit. Jehovah regarded His son lovingly and embraced a last look of His Beauty as it was, for it was about to change, even in Eternity. He would forever be marked and in a sense, surrender a little of His own beauty to infuse beauty into the world and its people. How the Father loved His Son’s benevolence, that He would give so much of Himself for this new life! Jehovah also found consolation knowing that much new love and beauty would arise from the Earth as a result. Ultimately, in the end, His Son would take on a new beauty born of Humility and Grace, traits which He would manifest through His sacrifice.
Emmanuel strode directly to His Father and embraced Him warmly.
“Father,” the Son said as he pulled back from their embrace, “I do see there is darkness ahead in my sight. I am aware that my vision has been altered but I am aware of what lies ahead of me before it goes dark. Yet, my trust in you is complete and I want to do this. So, bless me my Lord, and allow me to drink from this cup. I will then use it to toast you before your people and will draw all nations unto me. Let this be the Will of the Living God.”
Jehovah straightened up and turned toward the world. “Then let it be so, my Son. We are in accord and our Spirit is committed as well. Let us begin the finishing work.”
The King of Heaven extended His arms toward the Earth and proclaimed, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.”
As the Lord of Hosts issued His proclamation, His Son extended His arms straight out with His palms down and His fingers draped downward, while His frame became a glow as before. He held this position for a moment and began to tremble all over, like a shaking lantern. Then His legs began to buckle, and He fell to one knee, wobbly but keeping His arms out and His fingers tensed.
At that point, the Earth began to issue a low rumble that grew in intensity. Then all at once, a beam of radiant light shot from the frame of the Son of God and bathed the world. With that, all manner of land creatures appeared on the Earth. So, as he had done with the skies and the waters, He filled the land with life; life that emanated a new chorus to join the song of the seas and the skies. This new sound, combined with those of the other living creatures created a majestic, major chord that wafted throughout the Heavens. Up until now, the sounds of the birds and fish had melded to yield a dueted harmony, but now the addition of the land creatures added a new note forming a triad that now rung out from the Earth melodically as a bright symphony of worship directed at God.
The Lord God Almighty, basked in the sounds of adoration that all living creation; plants, trees, birds, fish and crawlers raised up from the Earth. The angels in turn, prompted by the Holy Spirit, then raised their voices in the chambers of Heaven to join in the song of the Earth. In doing so, a beautiful music formed, filling the Heavens and the Earth with praise of the Living God; delighting the Father in a way that was new to Him and drawing a huge smile that threw the Cherubim and the Seraphim into peals of rapture and laughter. It was like a great party had erupted in celebration of the new creation and God yelled out in joy, “It is good!”
The joy of the Lord was so great that the Heavens itself had achieved new heights of Glory. However, as the music of joy and thankfulness rippled about Him, the Father turned His focus to His Son. Emmanuel remained on one knee with His head bowed, working to regain His stamina. Slowly He rose to His feet and turned to His Father. As He did so, God noted that the light in His eyes had diminished and His footing was precarious. Anticipating His Father’s concern, the Prince of Heaven forestalled Him.
“Please Father, let us just finish what we have begun and let us not tarry unduly, as I am being stretched by the Infinite and am poised to make the jump!”
In an instant, a vision of Christ and His Earthly journey flashed across Jehovah’s mind, from the Star of His birth to the surrender of His Spirit upon the cross.
God turned earnestly back to Creation and extended His arms as if to hug the new world and proclaimed, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. He did so, as with the rest of the new creation, through His Son. Emmanuel had reached into time and space during the proclamation and formed the crowning achievement of Creation from the very earth itself and then blew into it the breath of Life. Doing so, left Him winded and bent over, clutching His knees for support.
Then with a sense of urgency and finality, the Lord of Heaven ordained unto man, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth. Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.”
In this final proclamation, the Lord established man’s authority and dominion over all the Earth and its creatures. In so doing, He elevated man to a formal role of stewardship for which He would hold mankind accountable. However, this responsibility was supported by the authority God placed on man through his intelligence and free will. For the first time, God was bestowing an inheritance on a part of His creation, raising man to a standard of glory that the Lord had not shared before. As a result, a new sound arose from the Earth to join in the chorus of life. However, this new note added to the chord was discordant and clashed somewhat with the other notes raised by the other living creatures. It was an unpleasant sound in the ears of the Almighty.
Then the Heavens shook suddenly as Emmanuel, who had formed man from the dust, had given him the breath of Life and bestowed upon him the free will of an immortal soul, surrendered Himself to death as a consequence of that free will and all the sin it would spawn- thus collapsing to His knees, clutching his eyes and yelling, “My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me!”
God held out His hand to forestall Windsong and the angels who clamored in an uneasiness that had never been known before. Jehovah watched as His Son then grabbed His chest, contorting his torso as he craned his head in every direction looking for the Light. God saw that His eyes had grown entirely black, as if they had absorbed the Void itself. The Lord’s heart broke for His Son, but He silently turned away, refusing to look at Him or call out to Him. It was the only thing God had ever done that He found hard to do, as all His works had always been easy. This in itself was a revelation to the Almighty, something new and a further indication of the merits of this creation.
To gird Himself for the Detachment, the Almighty allowed Himself to perceive the full recognition of the sins of the world. In an instant, God’s infinite mind was impressed on a cumulative, yet individual and personal basis by every sin ever committed in the totality of human history. Every act of barbarism and cruelty, however subtle or extreme, was summoned before His awareness. He saw every crease and line in every perpetrator’s face, fully understanding their motivations and feelings as they committed their transgressions. He also recognized the sufferings of those who were wronged; all the pain, anguish and torment fermented by the acts of evil and ignorance.
The wall of unrighteousness and shame swept through the Lord of Hosts like a wave. Every rape, murder, theft, lie and curse ever to be committed filled the Lord with rage. He observed the cruelty, the lies and the violence, he noted the faces and expressions of the perpetrators and their victims. He knew every single one of them by name and knew why they were as they were, what the world did to them. He recognized the sin of Adam and how it permeated throughout the ages in the composition of all people, Original Sin. He also recounted that all this ugliness had its origin in the fall of Lucifer. At that thought, The Lord God Almighty became completely enraged…the betrayal!
It was this experience that fired up the Ancient of Days, giving Him the impetus to turn His back on His Son and reject the evil of sin now infused into the Prince of Heaven. Instead, He drifted His attention to the change in the sound of Creation. The note of man’s existence had changed pitch. It was still somewhat discordant, but it no longer clashed with the other notes. It now evolved the sound of the Earth into a beautiful seventh chord that swept through the Universe and the Heavens with a melancholy, sadly sweet, yet very, beautiful music.
God and all the angels gazed at Creation in wonder, listening to the song of the redeemed rising now on the wings of humanity. It had resolved the discordant, unpleasant sound initially introduced by the addition of man to Creation. The Son of Man had gone down into the Earth and personally corrected the dire symphony spawned of sin and hopelessness, and cured its condition, thus sweetening the musical phrase by fulfilling the Law of Righteousness and enabling the spirit of mankind to now be in accord with God’s Holiness and Perfection. The Song of Man now shared a beautiful story of restoration and redemption, emanating a beauty so very great the Lord was prompted to yell out, “It is good! It is good indeed!”
At which point He heard His Son yell out in triumphant anguish, “Father, it is finished! Into your hands I commend my soul!” With that, the Son of Man collapsed into a lifeless heap. The Lord walked over to His Son’s body, aware that He had spilled Himself out to the last, giving all He had to finish the work of Creation. The Lord fell to His knees over His son and began to cry. As He did so, all the angels in Heaven discovered they now could cry as well and used this release to mourn the Son of Glory. For the first time, the Throne Room of Heaven was awash in sadness and the Host grew entirely silent; even the Cherubim and Seraphim for the very first time ceased their songs of praise before the Power Seat of God.
The only sound was the beautiful, new song that arose from the Earth and emanated through the halls of Heaven. Then God lifted His head, which had been bent over His Son, and looked very, sharply at the Earth. Inside, His righteous anger burned like a furnace over the wages of sin, which had cost Him His Son. Even though He knew His Son would be restored, for Him to have to go through that suffering was almost more than He could bear. He half considered undoing the whole thing in restoring His Son, but the wistful sound of the beautiful music from the Earth, whose poignant chords resonated with God’s own pain forestalled Him. He would continue as planned, but woe to those on Earth He thought, who would refuse His Son’s gift of salvation; for He had paid such a dear price to save His brothers and sisters, not just out of love for His Father, but for love of the people of the Earth themselves, His people
God turned His gaze back to Emmanuel, as Windsong closed quietly on the pair. The Only Begotten Son of The Living God lay crumbled in a heap. All the wounds He had endured throughout the creation of the Universe had all visited themselves upon him now at once. Stripes and points of brilliant, glowing red emanated from His head, back, hands, feet, side and now also His eyes. As He lay there the chambers of the Most High drew completely silent and all the Heavenly Host took to their knees with heads bowed. Emmanuel was beloved for the immense power of His Holy Heart and the way He loved and glorified His Father.
Yet, in this moment of stunned silence the faint sound of maniacal laughter found its way all the way up to the Glorious Heights and could be heard wafting throughout the Heavens. The enemy in its banishment was even able to reach the Celestial in its expression of glee over the death of Love. Jehovah noted the enemies joy over the Light they had snuffed out over Earth. He also remembered all the transgressions that His son had borne in exposing himself to this ridicule. The effect of all this, as He knelt above His Son’s extinguished form laying in still dullness, affronted His Righteousness with a grave sense of indignation to go along with His anger.
“Woe to those,” proclaimed the Lord of Hosts raising His hands up high and firing a hot gaze at the Earth, “Who turn down my offer of clemency for their sins through my Son, for I shall introduce them to their true selves in justification. I shall strip away their pride and expose them to their depraved souls for the first time. And in the wretched awareness of their self-ugliness, I will lay upon them all the pain they ever inflicted on others. The unbelievers will witness all the times they hurt someone, and I will turn around all the pain they caused on them; thus, will they truly know how they had made the others feel in all those moments. They will also see the advance of their ugliness with each new assault on kindness. So much so, the physical pain they bring upon themselves in the turnabout of their cruel acts will pale in comparison to the mental anguish they will face with relation to the emotional suffering they also caused in their lives. Person by person, incident by incident, the lost will watch the scales come into balance and their ugliness grow as the misery they caused to others is placed upon them; one and all who refuse the gift of salvation.”
The Lord God lowered His arms back down and continued, “Then, after all the pain the unredeemed have caused to others has been laid upon them, before I extinguish their spiritual existence for good in the Lake of Fire, I will give them a fleeting glimpse of the joy and pleasure that would have been especially prepared for them in the Kingdom of Light, if only they had lived for me instead of for themselves. This will be the final recompence for their iniquities and thrust each soul into the deepest torment of regret. However, in My Mercy, I will then extinguish their spirits and remove the very memory of them all from my saints and even from myself. Such will be the fate of all those who choose to reject the Love of My Son.”
The pronouncement of His ultimate judgement and the inevitable balancing of the scales of Righteousness that it represented eased the Holy Terror that had raged in Jehovah over His Son’s sacrifice. He drew a deep sigh as He turned His gaze from the Earth back to His broken son laying before Him.
“Lord,” softly the Spirit spoke to the Father, “I feel your distress and am sorry for your pain, our pain. But oh my, the music that has arisen from the Earth resonates with hope, as well as regret. The dawn approaches and gains its glory from the night that is passing.”
Jehovah turned to the Third Person of the Trinity, the very manifestation of His Will embodied in form and purpose. “Yes, my soul, be satisfied,” He replied, “I know that my Son wanted this. He understood that becoming a big brother was an important responsibility. In taking on that role, He was willing to do whatever it took to protect His siblings, even to laying down His own life for His little brothers and sisters to save them from spiritual death. As a result, He has opened the door to salvation, balanced the scales of Righteousness and beat evil at its own game. Now to conquer death once and for all.”
With that, God bent down kissing Emmauel gently on His forehead, then over His heart and then on both eyes in a crossing pattern. Then He whispered into His Son’s ear the Word of Eternal Life and the Son of God slowly opened His eyes and offered a weak smile for His Father.
“You see, Abba. I make all things new. The music has conformed from chaos to beauty.”
The Lord gathered His son into His arms, hugging Him and caressing His head. As He did so, He noted that although the crimson wounds had abated, that the light in His eyes had diminished, as it had on His crown, back, hands, feet and side from the efforts of creation. But more significantly, His aura had changed. Being the embodiment of light, Emmanuel had always streamed His Glory in radiant hues of bright colors that flowed out in waves of absolute beauty, however, now His Glories streamed out in stark white with steaks of scarlet. Still, the world shimmered with His Son’s magnificence, accrued in direct measure. Oh, how His Son had invested Himself in this new universe and a world of life!
“I am so pleased with you, my Child,” the Father said softly, “I see what this has cost you and how much of yourself you put into it. Your sacrifice and commitment honor me with grandeur, for you have delivered our people as an offering of love before me. I love you so much, my beautiful Son!”
“And I love you my dear Father. I also delight in your favor and that we can now share your amazing love with the world, it is far too great not to share with all Creation. Our love will then see a world of men and women through the travails of the ages as generations come and go. Ultimately, the world will find it’s end in the Day of Judgement, when I will welcome The Elect and destroy the enemy for once and for all. The canvass will then be set to build a new Universe founded on the perfected Creation, and my own Glory will be fulfilled as well.”
With that, Jehovah helped His Son to His feet and hugged Him. Then they stood for a while appreciating their handiwork, before God enquired, “Jesus. Jesus, my only begotten Son. What of the Earth from your experience do you most carry with you?”
Emmanuel turned to His Father, smiling.
“I favor that name, Abba. I will be called by many names in the world, but that one rings so lovely in my ears and is always infused with passion, be it kind or not. But what do I hold most in me from the world, you ask? Why, the faithfulness of our people, of course! The world’s currents that run against the Elect make it so easy for them to be blown off course, but our Spirit guides them, and I have seen the incredible acts of charity, devotion and self-sacrifice that will be born of their faith. To see that I am remembered with love even thousands of years after my mission there, is a wonderful testament to the belief in Truth.”
With that, the Lord of Hosts raised His hands and proclaimed, “Let the Heavens rejoice for my Son has conquered evil and put the serpent in his lowly place. Blessed is He who come s in the Name of the Lord!”
This exclamation caused the citizens of Heaven to erupt into praise and celebration! The angels lifted up new songs of adoration and worship that harmonized with the beautiful song of the Earth and Mankind. The Son of Man, the Christ Himself, was praised and glorified in new and wondrous ways that brought delight to the Father, and peals of laughter from the Cherubim and Seraphim. Heaven was ringing with mirth and joy at the completed creation and all that Emmanuel had done. It was truly a celebration of Life and Love.
“Father,” the Son said to God amid the din of celebration, “Your Vision has manifested your Glory and takes my breath away! Yet, I am filled with joyous anticipation of our next Work, the New Heavens and New Jerusalem! I have told our people as you instructed, that in your House there are many mansions and that I would go to prepare a place for each of them.”
“Yes,” agreed the Father, “But we will address that in due course. Our work is complete for now as we close this day. Let us go and rest now from our efforts. We will hold the new day approaching now, the seventh day of creation, as our Sabbath day. I ordain it to be a Holy Day that will be for our people in the passing of each week of their time. It will be a time to rest from the efforts of labor and strife and to remember the gifts that have enriched their lives, the Blessings of their God. So, let Us go repair my Son.” With that, the Living God and His Holy Son found quiet and contemplation in the communion of the first Sabbath; while for His part, Windsong tarried to take in the splendor of the new creation.
The Third Person of the Trinity, the tangible Spirit of the Living God placed His focus on the Earth, the crown jewel of the newly created universe of celestial bodies. Windsong likened the brilliant pinpoints of starlight set ablaze among the darkness of the firmament, much like man himself, islands of spirit light emanating against the mundane backdrop of the world. People were like stars, all aglow from the inside by the Holy gift of Life itself, and even able to perceive it as such, unlike the animals of the living globe.
As Windsong stood before the Earth and cast Himself like a net through the causeways of time and space, engaging in the work of the Lord which had commenced, Gabriel approached to take council with God’s Spirit. In His Omnipresence, Windsong continued His Infusion of spirit energy into the souls of the people below, while also directing attention to God’s Messenger, the Herald of the Heavenly Realm.
“Yes, Gabriel, the work has begun in earnest and happenings of time are insinuating themselves in space.”
“I perceived as much as our Lord and His Christ retired to their special place. And I am aware of my part in all this; at the appointed “time” I will place myself in the appropriate spot to herald the Incarnation of Emmanuel…Jesus, in ancient Israel. However, I will also announce the Glory of the Christ upon His Resurrection on the third Day. That is where I lack some sight with regard to the ordained plan and require your counsel.”
“Yes, I see your concern Patron of Song,” Windsong said in anticipation and deferring to the Arch Angel’s most beloved Title. “You perceive that the Lamb is being sacrificed twice, as He already endured the Agony of the Creation in spilling Himself out unto death and torture; while you properly assess He will condescend to enter the world personally and physically to endure the punishment yet a second time; this time in time and space.” Gabriel’s grief at that notion, reflected by the pain in his eyes, confirmed Windsong’s estimation.
“You see,” continued the Spirit of The Holy, “Man is unique among all creation, because He is both a spiritual being and a physical being. This duality must be addressed on both sides in order to cleanse man completely from His sins and the blight of the enemy’s mark on his soul. Christ addressed the needs of the soul and defeated the second death, Spiritual Death, through the sufferings He endured during the creation, as we all beheld in its horror. In so doing, He opened the door to eternal salvation. However, people would not be able to find the door on their own in the blindness of their pride and lust. So, the Lamb of God must go down to them and show them the way personally. In the process, He will be offered up in sacrifice and in so doing, defeat physical death as well; providing for the complete restoration of His people, physically and spiritually.”
“I see,” remarked the angel, “That is a hard thing, to die twice.”
“Yes, however, God’s Son endured this to spare His people, His children as it were, from the second death. As for the first death, the physical death, it has been appointed for all men to die, each at their appointed time. Only two in human history will be spared this event initially, but they will endure it ultimately as God’s chosen messengers of the End Times.”
“Yet, this gift of spiritual salvation will not be received by all, will it?” Gabriel enquired.
“No,” came the response, “Most in fact, a large majority, will not accept the gift of the Lamb; some that are too blind to see and some that choose not to. As a result, they will be called to task to account for their sins themselves. In that regard, they will be helpless before God’s perfect judgement. Many of those will cite works they believe adequately offset their sins, thus neutralizing the effect. However, the Lord will admonish them for their lack of perfection, which works cannot rectify. With works there is a balancing of good vs. bad, but perfection allows no quarter whatsoever for evil deeds or any imperfections. So then, how can justice be served in accounting for the sins written in the annals of time? Just punishment is the only way to erase the offense, and our Lord would have had to erase all human souls.”
“However, the Christ was able to pay the debt of sin on behalf of mankind, because He was a qualified substitute, pure and underserving of any punishment Himself. The fact He endured such agony without warrant spawned a wellspring of favor, which He had earned for Himself and that which He can now bestow upon the people.”
“But not all people,” Gabriel enjoined.
“No, not all people, quite the few in fact. For only those who recognize their own depravity and run to Him in humility, asking for His Grace and willing to follow Him will be spared. Those who do not, and mind you…everyone will have that chance at some point, those will have to answer for their transgressions for themselves. They will have no defense for their imperfections, and in that uncleansed state they cannot partake in the joys of perfection in God’s Kingdom. Instead, the Lord will extinguish them after their justification, and they will perish along with their memory in the Lake of Fire.”
“However,” continued the Spirit, “Those who accept the gift of salvation and bear the mark of the Lamb on their souls will not even be called to account. Their imperfections will be removed, and they will all be made perfect in Christ. Even the memory of the transgressions will be gone in the Kingdom of Light. All will be in harmony and live in perfect peace and pure joyfulness.”
“And oh, the music!” added the Trumpeter of heaven, “Have you heard the gorgeous, discordant sweetness emanating from that blue/green flower? And the way the Celestial Choir joined the chorus lifting the melancholy up with grandeur and resolving the phrase in a chord of wistful redemption and appreciation! I tingle all over in the hearing of it and anticipate joining them in due course.”
“Yes,” Windsong replied, “I have heard the Beauty in their song Gabriel, and it is astounding! And yet, just one manifestation of the Eternal Beauties’ Glories to be revealed on this Earth; there is so much more ahead. But for now, I must errand and will rejoin our Host when recalled. I will immerse myself in the temporal universe. But as always, I will be in your heart as well. Peace to you my sweet angel.”
“Glory be to God in the Highest, my Lord,” returned the Arch Angel, and he bowed as the Spirit passed.
With that the sixth day of The Creation had passed and the story of mankind and his salvation began in earnest. And in the unfolding of that story, Love was to grow in new and wonderful ways that would enrich all the citizens of Heaven and Earth. For as ordained, Emmanuel did go down to Earth at the appointed time, being the Lamb of God. And in that time, He cured minds, purified hearts, healed bodies and taught people how to love. He also raised the dead, stilled the waters and opened the hearts of men to the Spirit of the Living God. Love conquered hate, Light conquered darkness and redemption raised more love.
Love born of humility and sacrifice. True Love in Perfection. In Christ Jesus. Glory be to God!

“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.”
