The End is Near!
No, but seriously folks, starting this first, ever blog makes me feel like the guy in the village square or downtown street corner, who is brandishing a sign that warns of impending doom. That’s because this blog was kind of created for that purpose. You see, I do believe the end is near, so to speak. Why? Because, like all my spiritual perceptions, I feel it. If you read my witness testimony it helps to explain what that means.
However, unlike my disheveled brethren in the square, my message is not threatening; focused on warnings and admonitions intended to scare people straight. There are plenty who already stoking the fires of hell & brimstone theology. Nor am I endorsing the prosperity gospel concept, which is the epitome’ of driving a false sense of security. Rather, it is the upside of Salvation that is the primary focus of this blog. There’s nothing wrong with asking what’s in it for me, when committing to cause that demands much of you. That being the case, just imagine what God has to offer in His service!
In other words, if everybody realized how great Heaven really is (and how close), nobody would care about anything else and they would do everything possible to get there; even make the effort to be good! And that’s not easy to do in this world, which seems nice on the surface, but is rotten to the core and does everything it can to trick people into settling for less. So, the focus of this blog will be on the part of the spiritual glass that is half full. The idea being to finish filling it.
God is coming back down from Heaven soon, but this time He is bringing Heaven with Him. In future posts, I will explain approximately when I believe our King will return and why? I will also share insights about the “times” as they relate to His return; like any inroads toward the building of The Third Temple in Jerusalem. And I will share thoughts of the Good that is to come and what it may be like for the redeemed in Christ, when we are “living” with our God in The New Kingdom!
But why should anyone listen to me? Especially, on such matters…
Because I ask nothing of you, but an open mind. I have nothing to sell; I host no ads and have no monetary objectives, whatsoever. The things I am sharing on this website I offer freely, just as I have received freely. Unless noted, the writings are all mine, and the media is mine or public domain to the best of my knowledge. I am just serving the Lord, as He has prepared me my whole life. Those who know me well, will understand what I am doing and why. And to be honest, I am doing it mostly for them. I want all my loved ones, friends & family alike, to be with me in Paradise and if some of the poems, stories and blog entries help inspire them in their journey there, my joy is complete. For anyone else who finds their way here, I am happy for that too, and I encourage you to stick around.
And for my brothers and sisters in Christ who may balk due to Jesus’ warning about nobody knowing the time of Final Judgement; please be at peace, because I do not profess to know either. However, Jesus also said we are to keep watch, lest the hour sneaks up on us and we are unprepared, as in the parable of the foolish virgins and their lamps. He also admonished us for being able to read weather signs, but not being able to read “the signs of the Times.” Nobody knows the hour ahead of time to be sure, but that does not mean we can’t see it on the approach as it nears, if we are paying attention! Wasn’t that Jesus’ point? It is time to keep vigil, and this is my attempt to help us do that. Let this be a forum for sharing what we see and feel about the coming age. So, we are prepared, and our loved ones too.
Just please be patient with me, as I have never done this before. However, I think it will be an exciting, ride and a rewarding, journey. Thanks for tagging along and God bless you, one and all.
